Saturday 14th	2pm until dusk*	Weare Giffard Village Fete Beer Festival Weare Giffard Village Park, Weare Giffard, EX34 8LR (click venue name for approximate map) Weare Giffard is about halfway between Bideford and Torrington To get to Weare Giffard, take the Torrington road from Bideford The turning for Weare Giffard is signposted some 5 to 6 miles from Bideford The beer tent will be serving:- Beer Brewer Golden Hound (4.1%) Baskerville (formerly Fremington) Mainbrace (4.2%) Jollyboat Old Combe (4.2%) Wizard Litehouse (4.3%) Forge (Supreme champion beer of the South West at the 2010 SIBA Maltings Festival) Proper Ansome (4.2%) Clearwater Golden Pig (4.7%) Country Life There is also a BBQ and musical entertainment planned for early evening * or until the beer runs out, whichever comes first
Friday 20th to Monday 30th		Wetherspoons "Best In The West" Cider Festival The Panniers, 33-34 Boutport Street, Barnstaple, EX31 1RX The Water Gate, 7 The Strand, Barnstaple, EX31 1EU (click pub name for map) The cider festival is being held in all of the South West's Wetherspoons who have announced the following:- "There will be a regional launch party on Friday 20th at the Imperial, Exeter. This event will include local Morris dancers and a brewing talk and then festival selection tasting by Mark Thatcher of Thatchers brewery. The evening will start from around 7pm'ish."
